There is always going to be that stand-out experience that leaves a lasting memory in your life. For me, that is definitely the wedding of Rachel and her husband-to-be, Brad. Their amazing wedding was easily one of the best weddings I had the honour to shoot this year. Everything was beyond grand, no detail was missed and every element was crafted with the most careful eye.
The lovebirds got married at the luxurious Mandoon Estate located in the Swan Valley. I love Mandoon Estate as the setting is really amazing through the lens and provides so much variety to shoot.
Their love was captured with pure elegance, it is no surprise that guests were left speechless!
I was particularly blown away by the candid moments we captured during the sunset, the beautiful lighting is so romantic and adds so much character that is nearly impossible to replicate.
Love was infused into every part of this stunning wedding, my favourite moment was when I captured Rachel’s dad and his raw emotion when he first looked at his daughter in her stunning wedding gown. These are the moments I live for.
What a magnificent way to start your forever tale together! Congratulations to the gorgeous couple, Ina and James, on their incredible ceremony and celebration. This lovely couple are from London, UK but decided to have their wedding here in Perth because James’ family is based here. James is of Malaysian background and Ina is Korean, so their love story is infused with the best of both worlds! I was so enamoured by their story and how they found each other, love really does always find its way.
The intimate wedding was held at the popular St. Michael Archangel in Leederville. It is renowned for it’s amazing interior and arrangement, and I was pleased to be able to capture it’s grandness on Ina and James’ special day.
After the ceremony, we went on a little adventure around Perth City and UWA for some fun filled, candid shots.
We then made our way to the reception held at Matilda Bay. The rest as they say was history, there was dancing, heartfelt speeches and of course endless laughs. What a day to remember.
Wishing you two an amazing future, all the best guys!
Can I start of by saying, WOW! The ceremony and celebration of Aleisha and Kyle was truly magnificent. Let me take you on a trip down memory lane. These lovebirds are incredibly cool, they are crazy into each other and that made the whole occasion that much more exciting.
Their easy going personalities allowed for me to really get creative, they trusted my capacity and gave me artistic freedom, something I really appreciate!
The ceremony was like something out of your wildest dreams, set in the stunning St. Mary’s Cathedral in Perth, the wedding was witnessed by close loved ones. It was really moving to be there and to feel the raw emotion in the room. Some things can only be felt if you were there and I was certainly grateful to have experienced the amazing energy of their ceremony.
The reception was held at Western Australian Maritime Museum in Fremantle. Wow! What an authentic experience in it’s own right. The grand interiors are a feast for the eyes!
In between the hustle and bustle of the day, we had the opportunity to make our way to the Como Treasury and Long Chim for something different. We then made our way to Fremantle and the fun continued. We captured some gorgeous moments, it happened to rain a little which actually made for some cool artistic shots.
It is hard to pinpoint my favourite WOW factor about this special day. I mean, I loved the awesome shot of the groomsmen in front of the classic cars by Belle Limousines; the candid moments we caught of the bride getting ready; and the beautiful first dance we all had the pleasure of witnessing.
Thank you to the lovely newly weds, Aleisha and Kyle along with their amazing wedding planner, Original Wedding Co.
This day was definitely amazing. All the best you two.
