Marital Bliss – The Pre-Wedding Shoot of Carl and Teash

April already? :O WOW! As we enter the colder months I have made it a point to include the beach on my list of photography sites. The beautiful sand paired with the great blue make for some magic moments for the lens. That is exactly where the love story of Carl and Teash took us. Awww these two, what more can I say other then WOW! Their love is definitely one for the books and I can’t get over how they look at eachother – it really is like a fairytale romance.

The duo booked me for a pre-wedding photoshoot and we set our sights to City Beach. OMG when I say that day was windy – I really do mean the windiest day ever. Not to be cheesy but the wind paired with their unforgettable romance blew my socks off (no pun intended).

I hadn’t been to City Beach in ages so we took this opportunity to explore new unchartered areas and it really did pay off, we got some winner shots. Thank you to these lovebirds for including me – can’t wait to see what your love tale unfold.

Capturing moments before you tie the knot has it’s own special romance, so here are my personal picks for Perth’s best engagement photoshoot locations.

Bells Rapids

The beauty and splendour of nature can truly be experienced at Bells Rapids. The varying greenery and dramatic stream of water, certainly equate to some unique photos!

Trigg Beach

The rocks paired with the beautiful ocean make for some romantic shots. There is something so incredibly dreamy about this setting. It is really out of this world! That is exactly why Trigg Beach is one of my top picks.

Secret Garden

Enter through a gateway into an enchanted world. Welcome to Gwelup Secret Garden. This amazing spot is like something crafted out of a fantasy novel. There are so many elements to this location that photography here is guaranteed to be jaw-dropping.

Burns Beach

Let’s us take it to the coast once again. This time Burns Beach. Feel on top of the world in a location where beauty knows no bounds. This picturesque part of town is one-of-a-kind and extremely romantic in its scenery.

Hyde Park

Another world of enchantment. One of my favourite engagement photography picks is definitely Hyde Park. There is so much variety here, the setting is truly magical. Be spellbound in a location that looks like a fairy tale.

Notre Dame area in Freo

You cannot deny that Fremantle is bustling with an unrivalled character. Timeless elegance is the theme here and that is definitely evident at the renowned Notre Dame. There is something so incredibly charming about Notre Dame and the entire Freo area, this of course results in beautiful engagement photos.

John Oldham Park

What is it with me and fairy tales? My next pick is John Oldham Park. Again, this location transports you into a location you probably dreamt of in your childhood. The enchanting backdrop is so unique and dreamy, making it one of my go to spots for engagement photography.

State buildings/Como Treasury area

Historical and monumental, the Como Treasury area within the CBD is a product of incredible architecture and an impeccable eye for design. Simply gorgeous, expressing your romance through photography with a backdrop like this equates to 10/10 imagery.

Raeburn Orchards

This choice is more of a seasonal one. If you go to Raeburn Orchards at the right time, the scenery is truly picturesque. I mean take a look at the below photo, need I say more?

This one goes without saying, destination photography takes the cake. If you are truly eager to go for something different, then let’s catch that plane and go to location like no other. My amazing life with the lens has seen me go across the globe – I love my job!
