The Love Story of Japleen & Sandeep

This is why I love what I do! When I met Sandeep and Japleen I was immediately honoured to be a part of their love tale. They were an absolute delight to shoot. After we caught up, I could already tell how into eachother they were – a match made in heaven I’d say! We decided to have the pre-wedding shoot at John Oldham Park, ahhh the sights are just superb. We chose to do the pre-wedding shoot in a different season to the actual wedding, to get all sorts of vibes for the pictures – turned out amazing (I mean check out the piccys!) .

I absolutely adore being a part of weddings and pre-wedding shoots for a variety of different cultures. My recent adventures have seen me photograph Indian weddings, Italian weddings, Chinese weddings and so on. Stay tuned as the journey continues on this front…

Have Your Engagement Shoot Like A Fairy Tale

Engagement shoot time! Yes, with the sudden aroma of romance in the air, I have picked up a lot more pre-wedding photoshoots. As mentioned in my previous blog post, engagement shoots are half the fun and should definitely be on your list prior to the big day. Earlier in the year, I met with Flora and Junior, a love struck couple who wanted to capture some pre-wedding fun before their big wedding.

We made our way to the Gwelup Secret Garden in March, as this is the best time to go! Winter can be extremely muddy and summer can be incredibly dry and brown. The afternoon was filled with heaps of fun and laughter, the couple were incredibly happy with the result.

Flora and Junior are an awesome couple and very photogenic might I add! Junior AKA DJ Junior is also a famous DJ in Perth, he has won several awards and is great at trick mixing.

Fast forward to today, I have photographed their wedding and also their wedding video! The gorgeous couple also included me for their maternity shoot. So keep a look out as I share these amazing updates with all of you.

Pre-Wedding Fun in Fremantle with Sally & Vincente

Aye Aye Captain!

Once again I am feeling a bit of nostalgia. The other afternoon, as I walked through Fremantle, I was reminded of a fun-filled day I had with Sally and her husband-to-be, Vicente.

The two lovers contacted me for a Pre-Wedding Shoot and after hearing their romance tale and understanding their vision, we decided to book a day in Freo.

The beautiful and charming Sally is a professional dancer who danced her way into the heart of the handsome Vicente. Vicente is a cruise captain who after seeing the world decided to make Sally his universe. 🙂

A Beautiful Engagement Shoot at Bells Rapids

Getting back to nature with this one.

I am a big fan of Bells Rapids; the rushing water and the quiet stillness of the location is gorgeous and unique. I am so glad that my lovely friends, Kalvin and Sarah felt the same way. The date was set and we soon made our way to the breathtaking location.

Kalvin and Sarah are a young couple and let me tell you now – they are really into each other. Their love is magnetic and it made it so easy to capture romantic candid moments.

This paired with the green, rocky and water landscapes of Bells Rapids was the perfect recipe for an awesome engagement shoot.
