There are some things that stick with you through a lifetime. The beautiful wedding of Japleen and Sandeep will definitely stay with me for an eternity. I am so elated to say I was blessed with the honour of shooting their gorgeous Sikh wedding. The couple are of Punjabi Indian heritage and let me just say – the Punjabi community know how to celebrate a union!
When I first met the couple, I fell in love with their love. They are so into each other and that really came through from day one. Soon after we were booked, the wheels were set in motion. The couple decided to have a Sikh ceremony along with a Western ceremony.
Their Sikh ceremony was held at the Sikh Temple in Canning Vale. A glamourous affair, the duo paid tribute to their beautiful culture and there were so many heartfelt moments during this ceremony. Not only were the couple so beautifully dressed, but so were the guests. I remember feeling a few moments of emotion when I watched those intimate moments with the family. Ahhhhh…. let me just say – my job is the best.
A highlight from this ceremony was that we were featured in Saffron Weddings Magazine, check it out –https://saffronweddings.com.au/japleens-bridal-journal-perth-wa/
A big thank you to Japleen and Sandeep for including me in such an intimate and auspicious celebration. Stay tuned for the secondary blog where I share insight on the Western ceremony too ?.
