Magical Memories: Alaleh Weds Saeed

And they lived happily ever after…

The incredible Saeed and Alaleh had their jaw-dropping Persian wedding with their family and friends not long ago. It was so touching to witness how close they all are and how integrated they are with eachother’s families. I loved shooting their love at Caversham House, this location never ceases to amaze me.

The couple are Persian, so their beautiful big Persian wedding was nothing short of excellent. Honouring Bahai traditions, the ceremony was incredibly intimate and heartfelt. We then explored around and took some amazing candid shots before we made our way to Crown Astral for the reception! I snuck into the reception before all the guests arrived to capture the eye-catching decorations.

The reception was a fairytale in it’s own right. There were some light-hearted speeches and some unique dance moves. A night to remember for sure.

Who Else Wants An Engagement Shoot Like This?

There was something truly whimsical and enchanting about this engagement shoot. When I first had the chance to meet Arohi and Arvin, we clicked right away and I knew we would work very well together.

We had great conversation and I began to fall in love with their love tale. Before you know it, our pre-wedding shoot was set at Bells Rapids, as you know this is one of my FAVOURITE locations to shoot engagement shoots. As the day carried on we started to experience a bit of drizzle, of course this only resulted in more awesome shots.

The rain added a romantic ambience, we were prepared with an umbrella, so don’t worry – if it ever rains, it might actually work out for the better. I mean check it out!

Have A Pre-Wedding Shoot You Can Cherish Forever

Love is definitely oozes through the atmosphere, I can feel it everywhere! Ahhh…romance, spring time calls for some pre-wedding fun and that is exactly what we did for the Hyde Park engagement photoshoot with Francesca and Shahin.

Francesca is Italian and Shahin is Persian, this beautiful couple love fashion, glamour and have an impeccable taste for style.

The dynamic duo chose this elegant location because they loved the greenery. We decided to go during the sunset as this equates to some really dreamy shots! Sunset time is definitely one of my favourite times to shoot and I actually often schedule engagement shoots at that time. The day was a cloudy one but we got some incredibly interesting shots of sunlight peeking through the clouds!

What An Honour! Winning the Master of Photography by AIPP

What an honour. I would humbly like to announce that I am the recipient of the 2018 Master of Photography award that was presented to me at the AIPP Gala Dinner in Melbourne. Unfortunately, I was unable to be physically present to personally accept the award, but I am tremendously humbled by this milestone.

So what does this achievement mean? Being a recipient of this award is achieving a recognition of excellency from Australia’s leading governing body for photographers. It is a representation of the high standard of work and service that I provide.

As many of you might know, I have been capturing the love and romance of several couples and witnessing their weddings for over 10 years now. Receiving the Master of Photography award is an immensely huge achievement for me on a personal level and also for my career.

Things like this do not manifest overnight, it takes years of dedication and consistency to this profession and I am once again, honoured to be awarded this status.

I would also like to thank AIPP for scoring my wedding print with the highest in WA! I still can’t get over how my work was displayed on the big screen at Yagan Square!
