The day I met with Shima and Pedram, I knew that their wedding day was going to be incredible! After getting to know them and learning about their amazing story, I was fortunate enough to capture the next chapter of their love tale, their wedding!
Let me provide you with a little glimpse of a beautiful Persian Bahai wedding I captured earlier this year.
Shima and Pedram married on a gorgeous March day at the Queen Gardens in Perth. It was a relatively intimate affair with the couple’s close circle of family and friends. The bride stunned in her gorgeous Fara Almasi Couture gown and the atmosphere was a perfect blend of joy and elegance. The highlight was definitely, capturing an amazing dove release, symbolic of the new journey the two were going to embark on.
Soon after the ceremony, we went for a wander down to Elizabeth Quay to do our shoot. Once we got there, we captured some candid moments on the carousel which was great, and we also went on board a Gondala!
Ah and who could forget the reception? I can tell you now, that was definitely a celebration to say the least, the guests knew how to party! Set at one of my favourite venues in Perth, Crown’s Astral Ballroom, I got to witness some crazy moves on the dancefloor!
Mmm! Love is definitely in the air, and lucky for me I often get to capture that! Thank you Shima and Pedram for letting me capture your love on such a special day.
